Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default floating multimedia receiver

I'm looking into upgrading the radio in my 03. These new floating screens seem to be the trend. Has anyone installed one in their H2? The one I'm looking at has a screen that is 7"x10". I think it would fit nice without blocking air vents or controls.

Doesn't have that factory "built in" look! Mod the panel or add a keyboard?

I like those tesla style displays but they get really bad reviews and zero customer support.

I'm currently installing a Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX with a 9" floating screen in an 08 H2, I'll post some pics when complete.

I'm not sold on the touch stuff. Zero tactile - you MUST take your eyes off the road to do anything on them. I have an aftermarket Kenwood in mine which is mostly touchscreen (it does have an volume **** and a few buttons) and I catch myself taking my eyes off the road too long while I'm trying to change certain functions. Seems unsafe but maybe I'm just old... lol I remember having just a couple of preset radio station and you have to physically pull the button out to set the preset. Then I got my first 8 track...
