What's a mean when the check engine light starts to Flash instead of steady on.
And loss of power.

ive had her for 2 months.
she has 104k miles

Broke down 70 miles from home. $950 tow bill on top of the $120 tow to get off the thruway.....

 

That is not good news. What happened?? Only two months in it almost sounds like the prior owner knew something disastrous was amiss and hid it.

 

Do some diagnostics and lets hope things are not so bad...

 

Flashing CEL indicates mis-fire...

 

A flashing MIL at speeds around 60 MPH indicates the 02 senors are seeing a very rich condition, enough to do damage to the cats or sever misfire.

I've seen this after a part associated with the rotating assembly (torque converter, flex plate, crank sensor etc)has been changed and a crank re-learn has not been done.

Wife brought it in for an oil change 2 days prior. They sold her on an engine flush.
From what I've read online, 50% of the people who got an engine flush Say it worked, any the other 50% say their engine blew.
