Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default EV vehicles

Just a quick laugh. I just leased an electric Silverado 1500 pickup.
i did so because it is the same as the avalanche was where there is an opening
thru the bed to carry long things (full sheets of plywood etc with a 6ft bed) that I need to do often. I was on their forum asking question about charging and I mentioned my other vehicle is an H2 hummer. Oh boy. This is getting interesting.
guessing I’ll be banned soon. lol

I think your choice in an EV is great, always liked the Avalanche trucks, Tell them that you have a Harris Wallz sticker on the Hummer and then they will calm back down.

for a second vehicle the EVs are awesome, just like for me anyway the H2 is an awesome second vehicle.
wouldnt and couldnt afford to drive the hummer every day, and even though charging stations are getting better and faster,
wouldnt want to tow or drive EV pickup more than 250-300 miles a day. it gets 440 miles from a full charge but even at the fastest tesla chargers would probably take 2 hours to recharge.

We went all in not bad. I went from duramax 2500 to hummer ev pickup and my wife went from escalade to hummer ev suv. It was a short adjustment but its been fine so far. Until they go live with the 500kw chargers, tesla does not have fast enough chargers for the big GM EVs. EVgo and Electric America have 350kw chargers that are much faster than the tesla 250kw. One big issue is a lot of people doing reviews did not know to press the battery preconditioning button well in advance of dc fast charging. If you forget, your charging speed will be throttled hard. Largest charge we did at a fast charger was 13% to 100% and it took 1hr 28 min. I know it sucks compared to filling up at a gas station but if you fast charge to 80% it is exponentially faster. Ive been pulling a 10-12k dump trailer home and back to work every day for just under two months without an issue its around 180 miles

Right On.... I'd love to see a High horsepower Supercharged GAS engine in the HUMMER H2. Diesel's are cool but $$$ . A nice big azz Gas Hog Huffer motor in the new 2026 body would be sweet.

IMO, GMC will drop a gas’s fueled or diesel Hummer on the market.
Those Toys R us battery charged ev’s ain’t making it due to the expected wear on the battery and cost somewhere between the $35/$40k
