I imagine it’s not common. I’ve never heard of it at least. With the time and money it would take you may as well just throw a whipple on the 6.0 and call it a day. It’ll make more power and have lots of room for performance upgrades.
with the 8.1 you get what you get. There’s not much room for more power and hardly any aftermarket support.
I do agree it would have been awesome if gm put these in from the factory tho.
