Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
after owning this car since 2004, i decided to upgrade it a little to something more badass looking. I'll deal with the rust next on the lower bumper, steps and then have those parts all repainted but for now here's what I've done, and thanks to all who helped me with answers before I went with ordering the parts in this thread --> My H2 Build Plan
Light Bar: 32" Arsenal mounted on the grille guard-->Part
LightBar: 52" Lasfit single row on the roof -->Part
LED Headlights: 7" off amazon, perfect fitment. Does require cutting the OEM headlight cover from the back to fit the wiring. -->Part
LED fogs: 4" wrangler fogs, fitment isn't great too small doesn't cover the whole area, had to modify. -->Part
Taillight covers: smoked (because all other after market tails have connection issues, based on videos i've seen) not running these yet, not sure how i feel about them-->Part
Wheels: Black Rhino Primm 17x9, ET 0 , BS 5" on 315/70 (I also ordered black bolts on back orders, but I kinda like the brass on them too now)
Looking good. The tire bracket came with 3 bolts to hold it on there. Yours is mounted off to the right of the shackle where it's supposed to mount. I hope it's strong enough to mount it where you have it. It would suck having it fall off and possibly destroying what you've done there.. Oh, I believe the shackle bolts help secure the bumper on that side too. Looks good tho.
Cool, the 2 bolts from the shackle hold of the bracket and there's a 3rd bolt that keeps it steady from moving all around. You can find them around sometimes. Not everyone likes them. Good luck.
Looking good fella, Great mods definitely gives it a Bad *** look, Loving the tail light covers, Had them on my Supercharged Silverado SS, but seemed to dim the light too much, now we have LEDs might solve the issue, think I'll try some
