Thumbs up Bilstein shocks & Bilstein Steering Stabeliser Replacement, WOW!!

Hey Guys. I just absolutely must share this with you. After spending too much time finding the right Shocks for my 05 Hummer h2 (63k). I decided to go with Bilstein 5100 series. I called www.shox.com @
Toll free: (800) 683-2890 and talked to Mark the owner. He advised me to get the Bilstein 5100 shocks too so I did. I paid $329 for a set of 4. I must say that I was really impressed by Marks knowledge; He worked for Bilstein for many years and could have sold me any other Brand shock. Mark picked the perfect shocks for my Hummer. Mark asked me about the Steering and suggested a Bilstein Steering Stabilizer ($89, 90). This made sense to me so I got one. What a difference Wow, my Hummer not only drives like new but the steering feels is absolutely fantastic! Like new! A difference like Day & Night! Thanks to Mark @ www.shox.com a nice guy, professional and no bull....!
Well I just wanted to share this with my fellow hummer h2 friends, you all drive save & God Bless.
I tried to Upload some pictures but I it just didnt wnw upload.

Did the parts you replaced ware out or did you replace them from a performance stand point.
Reason I ask is I have a '03 H2 and am itching for projects. Please let me know how these parts changes your truck.
Thanks

Hallo Anthony.
Changes to my truck are fantastic. All 4 OEM shocks was leaking after7 years on duty( Age) they were just worn-out I guess the h2 is just very heavy as u know.Thats why I decided to replace the Steering stabilizer as well, and I’m very glad I did! St The optical difference between shocks & stabilizer alone are huge compared to the old OEM. I tried to upload pictures but it just didn’t work. My 05 has 20''Wheels with Nitto all terrain, I was looking for smooth ride. Between the weight of the truck & the very heavy wheels I got I thought I needed something a bit stronger than OEM and Bingo! That’s what I got. Bilstein shocks put my Hummer on the road give me a smooth ride and much less tilt going around corners or switching lanes on the HWY. The Steering Stabilizer made such a big difference unbelievable. Steering feel is tide, smooth and calm no vibrations or shaking, just like day one. Wow. You know I really don’t know why I didn't do this earlier, beats me. That is my experience, hope it helps you, keep me posted on your project good luck & God Bless.

Can you tell me the Bilstein part number for the stabilizer? I also have the 5150 shocks on all 4 corners and love them.

Thanks,
Todd

Are your h2s lifted? The 5100s are for lifter H2s. The 4600 are for non lifted H2

You can run the 5100 series with the remote reservoirs on an unlifted truck. they make both ways. part #s are 25-187618 and 25-187625. the cheapest place ive found them online is at andysautosport.com. those are about 150 each.
