Got scammed $1,000 bucks over the weekend. These are some of the most sophisticated scams I have ever seen in my life Its a totally fake pages. 17k followers on the page. 6.5 on the other Multiple Admins. They are all the same scammer. When a post is put out. Fake accounts will respond talk about what parts they need. Pages getting shared. People posting there hummers. Fake conversations All fake accounts/some are real but they are on the verge of being scammed. The name of one of the page is called HUMMER H1 H2 H3 Parts and accessories

. Jam Auto Sales Inc is a fake Hummer dealer. Its a indian guy running the scam, changes the name of the page every year.


“Hummer accessories and parts” is another. Same thing admins backing fake accounts then admin will tell you got scammed and then to buy parts off him. Dwaney stuff is admin on there. They block you after they scam you.

I know some people might think how could you be dumb enough to get sucked up into a scam. Let me tell you its highly organized. Prob a dozen or so people maybe more involved I have seen some scams over the years but nothing like this. Just stick to ebay. Off to the fbi to file report. Last idiot did something like this to me got 20 years.

 

Lady in town just got scammed for $28k over the phone, cleaned her bank account out. Public hanging would be too good for these scumbags.

Thx Phil, The way i look at it. If this is worst thing that happens to me im fine with it. Health is good. Dont have to wake up and cross a minefield. Lesson learned.

Been there done that... Me Happy to... Same as you.Wake up and and have coffee.... happy for the new day. We all think we are sharp and can spot a scam. I got scammed once. Long story but when I had the guy on the phone and realized he was full of S .... He said if I don't send him the money that he scammed with he would lock my computer with his password.

I told him to go pound sand....He locked my computer and hung up the phone. But Windows 11 has a secret way of logging on again if your computer is locked via the internet. So I unlocked it using the Windows method.

Anyway ..As stated... I only buy thru eBay.

 

Yeah, I got scamed about $300 trying to save a buck or two through F.B. Marketplace. I've definitely learned my lesson.

• Personal payments (friends and family) are generally not covered.

Key points to remember:

Yep..I use PP when available on a Web Site. Seller never sees my CC info.

 

A large percentage of ads on Facebook Marketplace are scams. The stories are endless.
