Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default The best non paint job ever!

Its been awhile since I posted up something here. I will say that its nice living in New Mexico, alot more opportunity to go off road.

But I was collecting alot of trail damage, and then some moron keyed the truck all the way around. Could have painted it...but thats too easy. So I had a bright idea, lets shoot it with LineX. After several conversations with LineX of Albuquerque we came up with a plan.

I want to add that LineX differs greatly from any of the other "bedliner" products in that LineX is not a "rubbery" compound, it is a hardened textured product. And you can pick shiny or not so shiny, I went with not so shiny. Mud doesnt like to stick to it either.

Scratch proof!

Heres the results:

Interesting! Good idea to help keep it from getting scratched and/or keyed again. I just don't understand some people. Like the way it looks in the back, guess I'd be interested I seeing it close up. But a good idea!

Actually I intentionally did not get the sealer, I was looking for a flat black look to start with. And you are correct, after a month here in the New Mexico sun it achieved a nice flat black.

I really like the looks of that. I probably would have had them line-x the mirrors and the bumpers as well, but it looks good as it is.

I like the color and finish. It does suit the truck. Question, though, have you considered treating the entire vehicle? Somehow I am just not sold on the two-tone theme.

That Looks AWESOME! Hey, helpful hint. Go to the parts store, and grab some Mcquires Back to Black and a wax pad. I used it on my bumpers, and they are black as night now. The wax pad is just way easier to use then a towel. After 3 months, and many car washes and this Texas heat, it still looks awesome!

Here is my truck with one side done and there not.
