Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Default Best Lift for Offroading With 37s? 2 inch?

Looking for 2 inch lift options. Currently on 37s with no lift and coil spring rear. Id probably pickup some kryptonite upper control arms and keys for the front, but are there any options other than spacers for the rear? I don't like the idea of them and would rather have longer springs. Do these exist? And would there be any benefit to springs vs spacers with suspension travel and/or articulation? Off-roadability matters to me. Also do I need to change out shocks? I have some fox 2.0 reservoir shocks that I would like to keep if possible.

Lastly, what is the best lift for offroading in terms of size, ground clearance, center of gravity(rollover risk), suspension travel, and articulation? I feel like these things probably get tippy with the 6" lifts. Is something like that even necessary or worth it from the function aspect?

I have 37 inch Geolanders on a stock H2, with air bag springs, I go off-Roading, but I also do it within the realm of driving it and not beating it up, it’s a daily driver, I take off the side steps, remove the extended trailer hitch and off we go….. though I am in south Florida, we take it mudding and such, no rock or mountain climbing to be done here…do get some light rubbing on hard turns, but no lift kit needed, using heavy Duty Monroe shocks…happy with it…

My intrusive thoughts say I could take a bite out of those tires. Good look.

I wouldn't lift it, beef up the prone-to-brake suspension and steering components, Mine is on 37s with green keys with Kryptonite steering and suspension components. One thing I love about H2's is the no lift for 37's
