Anybody else adding 2nd rear axle
So there is a guy selling the 2nd axle kit on Facebook - located in Abingdon Pennsylvania. I saw this post and was curious if anyone was doing these conversions?

Here is a
video of a guy that finished this conversion to an SUT... which appears to be the easier route than extending the SUV.

I... Have a similar desire... But involving dually axles... All three... Portals actually... From a commercial unimog... And a Duramax, with an Allison... And kodiak frame rails...
Okay I wanna put a 6x6 kodiak on Merc portals and then set a long h2 on top
Im thinking h2 SUV in front with the rear wheel well deleted. Then in the back cut up two SUT backs and two sets of dually boxes...
On the front, hack the fenders off the later model topkick's tilt off front and mount higher on the h2 frame
Supersingle wheels on all six spots
Massive Michelin superwide Semi-MT tires like the Forestry service runs on their logging trucks...
Stick a 5th wheel in the back
Basically a crewcab hotshot logging truck lol
Use it to pull a connex camper into remote locations lol

Somehow when I first followed the link from my email here it had taken me to a complete kit for a 6wheel truck conversion on Facebook marketplace for $600 btw, bolt on bedsides for a sixwheel.
THOSE on an SUV, so its like an SUT with an extended cab, might be cool?
I agree about h2sut
Its because its an avalanche but the h2 is a sawed off suburban, they needed to reduce front and rear overhangs
Woulda been cooler as an extended cab design on the tahoe wheelbase, with bulgy fenders like the h3, imho lol
The 6 wheels with beds are cool tho because you could actually haul 5th wheel
You cant get a gooseneck in an h2 sut Ive looked
Its tight in an avalanch clearance wise turning and stuff
