As the AS Unit is no longer required (and probably has been removed) make sure it has been disconnected.
Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect. You should then find that the BCU has mapped-out the AS Unit and the light will stay off.
It certianly worked on my 05 H2 but as its so easy to do its worth trying.
