Air Suspension to Coil Springs on Lifted H2
I am having problems with my air suspension of course so I want to get rid of it in favor for springs. I have an 05 H2 with a 6 inch fabtech lift and was wondering what I need to order. Do I need just the fabtech springs from a lift kit or do i need some sort of mounting hardware. Thanks!

Fabtech coils
I just changed over as well. Got my Fabtech six inch lift coils and then ordered the rubber insulator pads (4 each) from GM. You don't need anything else. I had the computer reprogrammed so the check air suspension warning did not keep going off. You can go without the insulators, but then the springs would be metal to metal.

I bought some metal hose crimps and plugged up both hoses to the old air ride set up. Then had a peron on each sensor which is visible from the wheel well mounted to the frame. Have them both start all the way down pointing towards the front of the truck. shut off truck and restart and move the sensors up an inch, shut off restart and continue process til the service light goes off. Then zip tie in place. Worked for mine and I have been going for 4,000 miles no problems. Plus I still have the function of the compressor.

Hello,
Read your post about converting to coil springs with a FABTECH lift. I am looking to do the same thing. Was wondering how it went? Are the 4 insulators all you need with the springs? Any towing issues if you tow?
