37" vs 35" tires on H2

Its in his signature at the bottom of his post Imazzola.....
"Toyo MT 38x13.50x18 on Rockstar."
18" wheels..... Nice big amount of sidewalls so I bet it rides nice too!
Granted - this thread was last replied to a bit over 3 years ago. This is my 2003 with 37x13.5 Cooper STT Pro on 18" Weld Cheyenne wheels. I do have it levelled with reindexed torsion keys in front and 2" spacers under the rear air bags. Also the U steps are not on in this shot which does make it look a bit higher. At full lock when backing up the front tires do rub a tiny bit but not bad or anything I'm worried about.

I would love to go 37s but with my green keys, rear spacers with stock 35s I barely fit in my garage now. I have plenty of pics in my build thread with my setup. If I remember correctly, 4.5" backspace.

Cool thanks guys
I am replacing suspension now and next will be wheels. After months of searching I am going with 18s and 37s. Now I just have to figure out what 18s. That should take at least a month. Lol. I am adding a 2inch lift with keys and spacers under new coils.

That is pretty much exactly what I did on my white one above. Just air ride instead of coils in the back. Tiny bit of rubbing in the front on backing up at full lock is all. Nothing dramatic and nothing that will cause any damage. That being said, I do not have the reindexed keys cranked to the max either and I did 2 inch spacers. You "could" go with 3" spacers and crank the keys to the max but that really kills the ride quality and causes a LOT of stress on the upper ball joints. In my opinion 18's are great as it gives a lot of sidewall which helps for comfort and if you do much actual offroading it helps a lot there as well airing down some for crawling and whatnot. With 37's though, even 20's are not too bad and still a nice amount of sidewall. I'd never personally go any bigger than 20's though. Unless I'm going to be going extreme with 44+ inch tires.
On a side note - my dream pickup. International MXT, lifted on 50" tires.

I ahave looked all over the internet and there isn't much with pics and description in the H2's regarding tire size and rims.
I prefer to keep it at a stock height by may do a front level if needed.
Does anyone have a pic of a H2 with 20x10's w/ 35" tires or 20x10 w/ 37" tires?
Thanks
Marco

Personally I don’t like the “large diameter rims with low profile tires” look on Hummers. Mine came with 22” rims and will probably downsize to at least 20’s and maybe smaller depending on what rims I decide on in the spring.
