Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
That looks like you have the OEM running board for the H2. The part number is 15172445, and is no longer available from GM. That part is the same for all H2s 2003-2009.
Here are your options for an OEM replacement.
- Check eBay with a search of Hummer H2 running board.
- Check Facebook Marketplace with a search of Hummer H2 running board. Hummer H2s are being parted out all the time, and you should find some local options and can save in shipping
For a new replacement, your option will be Aries. You can find these on Amazon. They offer a chrome and black version. Pricing for two brand new ones can cost under $200.
Your larger cost will be to replace that passenger side view mirror. There are very few options to replace these for the 08/09 H2. Note that the side view mirror was unique to the 08/09 models only -- part number 25774404. Don't trust any seller that lists the mirror as 03-09... as there were actually 3 different mirrors used over that timeframe.
- Check eBay. A new one is listed at $500+. I don't see any used ones listed. It is not currently possible to just replace the mirror since the mirror sits in a plastic plate/frame which was not sold as a separate part. You may see the mirror sold separately by Burco... I have tried to get that to stick to the OEM plastic plate without success since the mirror is curved, while the OEM plastic mounting plate is flat... you really need an OEM mirror with plate or an entire side view mirror.
- Check Facebook, but the 08/09 mirrors are almost never listed.
I believe there is a drivers side and passenger side and the plastic foot pads align to be under the appropriate door. So you need to specifically look for the passenger side nerf bar.
They are side-specific, but it's only for the purposes of lining the plastic pads up under the doors. I actually installed mine backwards on purpose, as I preferred how the plastics lined up better.
Look on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. I see them for sale there quite often in my area as these tend to be one of the first things people remove.
