Default 2008-2009 H2 Radio Removal Instructions

Does anyone know where to find instructions for how to remove and replace the factory radio in a 2008-2009 H2? I've searched all over the internet and this forum and can't find anything anywhere.

I’m speculating because I’m more familiar with the earlier trucks, but I would check on the storage area under the HVAC controls for screws, if not check to see if the fascia surrounding the radio ends around the storage, make sure it’s not attached to the cigarette lighter ports. If there is a rubber insert in the storage area I would remove that. Assuming all this passes muster - I would grab fascia at the bottom of the storage area and apply a constant pressure pulling away from the dash.

For example on an H3 you stick your fingers into the cigarette lighter ports and pull the fascia away.

on the older model H2's you had to remove the shifter and bezel to get to a few screws that sandwich the center console to the radio bezel at the bottom might also have to unscrew the center console completely from the floor.

I've removed my nav unit a few times, pop the fascia off and un-plug the 4x4 controls then you have to remove the AC module first by removing the screws then you can remove the 4 screws securing the radio and remove the radio

I'll se if I can post the instructions when I get home

So the front face just pops off? I started to pull off the aluminum faceplate. It has a few clips on each side. It started to get stuck below the AC vents and I didn't want to force it.

the aluminum faceplate pops off then you will see the retaining screws for the AC controls and the nav unit

because the ac vent louvres are part of that radio trim.

I've looked everywhere in Alldatadiy for a better pic but this is all I can find, this entire section will pop out. This is under the 4 wheel drive controls which is why it shows the selector switch being removed, not needed for the nav unit removal.
