Hello hummer experts
2003 H2.
I wanted to replace the side marker lights, the front was pretty easy but on the rear side i able to remove the light but i cannot reach and disconnect the wire connector,
i treid to open up the bucket / consul
Inside the trunk to see if I can disconnect it from the inside but i cant open that box either, i cant find any screws on how to open that bucket.
does anyone have any idea?
Please help.

I think you can get to it by removing the wheel well.

As suggested in my PM to you, just fit inline connectors (see the video in the msg)

on the left side, you will need to remove the roof trim inside truck in rear, and pull away the big trim with the pocket it in behind the jack towards the hatch. the right side is a little easier, you remove the pocket tray and reach your hand up behind the plastic by the glass, pull the cable off the wall and you can replace it fairly easy.
