Default 2003 Hummer H2 Door Panels

I’m trying to find a Drivers door panel that’s tan for my 03 H2 but can’t find any that are decent priced also I need a glove box or center console lock or latch a headliner and I believe heater controls. And a drivers side seal not the one on the door but on the body. So if anyone knows of a place in the Pacific NW near Portland Oregon please let me know or even a place anywhere in the United States. Also if I were going to sell it would it be better to sell it locally or post it online somewhere? It only has a couple issues so I’m determining weather to sell it or fix it. Any help would be great I’m new to the site.

Those door panels in used condition are big bucks. They are repairable using fiberglass, and paint to match

I went through the same thing with my 06. I ended up doing a lot of fiberglass work re-enforced with fiberglass cloth. I ended up pulling al 4 door panels and re-working them all and painted them as well. One heck of a lot of work but in the end the results were fantastic,

I also applied dynamat to the inside of the doors before putting the panels back on. You cannot believe what this process will do with sound deadening and when your done you can be sure the panels will never crack again.

After I saw most panels being sold by salvage yards were worse then the ones that I had it was a no brainer but to repair them myself. My 06 came from Arizona which was great because it didn't have a speck of rust the plastics were a disaster because they were so dried out and brittle.

I ended up spending close to $200.00 for fiberglass, special paint plus the special clips to hold the panels on. The dynamat I had left over from another automotive project.

This was a drop in the bucket compared to what you will spend for just 1 panel from a salvage yard.

The Wheat colored ones seem to be the most brittle (must be the content of the plastic) but they are also much easier to find then the black ones. I recently checked ebay and there are a number of Wheat panels available under $600. Black one are a premium well over 1K.

Good luck, this is one of those more challenging issues on the pre-08 models.

While your in there - replace the actuators.... they are 20 years young and will be one less time you need to remove them....there is a seller on ebay who sells rebuilt ones & guarantee for life (no idea how a claim would be in 20 years...)
