Need some help with knowledge or a place where I can buy a manual. When I shift out of park, nothing happens. No matter what gear I put it in the vehicle remains in park. Did a linkage break or disconnect or is this another electrical issue? The LED on the console shows vehicle stays in park and it physically is.

 

go under the truck on the drivers side and look at the side of the transmission at its shift lever. should be a lever with a cable. if the cable is dangling then you found the issue.

 

Thank You, I will get out to where its sitting tomorrow and check it out. I'm really hoping its something as simple as a plastic bushing.

 

It's common, the parts stores sell the bushing.
