According to the codes for my 04 H2 , I should have a 110v outlet installed in the right rear. Where should it be and where would the inverter be located? I can't find any info on it at all, not even in the service manuals.

 

What code? I'm not aware of any H2 coming with an on board AC inverter. There is nothing in the owner's manual or the GM eSI system (I searched for inverter, 110v, 115v and 120v and none had any results) in regards to an inverter.

if you are talking about RPO codes you must use an RPO code list for the year as GM does sometimes re-use older RPO codes and maybe you are seeing an RPO code for your H2 but is a code for some other GM vehicle.

 

Stop looking. GM factory installed 110/120v in passenger vehicles started in 2011.

 

There is one installed factory looking in my 04 H2 beside rear passenger seat. Haven't tried it out yet.

 

This was installed by someone else, I think the very first owner of this 05 H2. I’m looking to replace the old (2) DVD players. Anyone have any suggestions what to get? There is a set up for two screens (sorry to highjack your post):

Otherwise no AC outlets.

 

 

Looks decent but as mentioned there was never a "factory" installed AC inverter in an H2. If it works there will be an inverter hidden away somewhere. Game ones like that are typically very small and can only provide at most about 150 watts.
