Not 100% sure yet. I don't believe the L9H in the 09s use AFM. Not sure if they used same lifters.

the L9H did not use AFM, if its like the 08 L92 the block was cast for it but the oil bores are blanked off by the valley cover

Order a new push rod... came in a kit w/ TSP vvt1.2 cam, cnc port work for heads, lifters, and a valve stem cap for the front left tire.

taking care of cam change while waiting on the heads to get done.
...to change the oil pump you pretty much have to drop oil pan. And what a total pain in the a** that is with motor in truck. 4 bolts are just about impossible to turn more than an 1/8 turn.
And wherever the little oil leak is, nasty. 6 Miller job for sure

might want to replace the oil cooler block gasket above the oil filter housing if you can access it. that could be your source of the leak

bronx, amen to that. I'm changing anything that seals, squeals, sticks, click, clacks vibrates or moves.

Machine shop just went through the heads. Found damage to the valve guide, cracked the seat, beat the snot out of the chamber and deck...new core hunt underway.
