been there dune that plus a bit of searching. then posted here.
this man did confirm the stop lamp fuse.

I will double check this fuse. actuely I checked all fuses only bad one was the cig ligther.he never mentioned that his taillights worked an only the brake lights failed, or I missed it.

as a side note I believe this cig lighter fuse also supplies power to the OBD2 port thats why my plug in sanner wouldn't power up. thanks hummerz

On my 2009 Lux H2 .....the second inside fuse panel does not have a hole to remove the cover or spare fuses. It does come of though. And there are system fuses in there also.

As far as the cruise goes. The 2009 Cruise will not engage until your @ 25 MPH or above. Disconnect is thru the Brake Pedal Switch. So you might have to test it after or at 25MPH. You can do that without going on the expressway and try it on a local street.

As far as that goes I'll let one of the other guys pick up on that.

I was lead to believe (from above video) this wasn't an auxillary inside fuse block, but just a panel that holds spare fuses (or I missunderstood)
I see cruise, brake an stop will check these inside fuse's an report back. all lights work like side markers, all inside, headlight, parking, tail lights just the brakelights so it seams the brake switch or it's secondary fuse is where the falure is. thanks for advising about this inside FB will report back.

The answer to your earlier question is yes, your brake light switch is at the top of the brake pedal arm where it pushes the push rod toward the master cylinder. Inexpensive, stocked at most auto parts stores. Standard GM brake light switch found on most GM SUVs and light trucks.

I checked the stop an cruise at the interia fuse block there fine haven't checked the brake yet. it's a major reach to fit the meter probes in there.

Yes, that's your brake light switch. There's multiple contacts inside, easier to just replace it than play around testing it as it's a bit of a reach and they are inexpensive.
