Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
One of the front side marker lights was out and another was flickering at times. Replaced with the partisan smoked LED lights. couple of observations, very crisp, clean look with or without them being on. For the front ones, noticed that the pigtail was just a little too short, still reached but could be an inch longer (that’s what she said). For the two rear ones, I chose to cut the wires and splice with connectors/heat shrink wrap. Getting into the inside would take too long and I don’t want to break any plastic clips. Overall satisfied with the look. Next up steering control modules (all are out).
will take a few pics later when it’s getting darker outside. They are bright though.
Niice look, I have a set still of 4 in the box I have not installed yet, I liked the blacked out look and thought it would look good with the solar flare orange but in all honestly, I won't install them if I have to cut and splice wires to install them.
BTW, good job with the wheels, I like the contrast of the aluminum with the gray.
The wires on the steering controls are also very very short....
yeah I was able to replace the left and right side top controls. The bottom ones, I have no clue how I will replace those. I really don’t want to mess with the air bag either. Why did the designers had to be so stupid. I mean an extra half an inch of cable length would do the trick.

thanks. Honestly it took me 5 minutes per side to cut and splice the new light. As long as the wire has some length where you can strip the end and crimp and a connector it’s easy. Or you can spend a little time accessing it from the inside and play the safe way.
The airbag is actually super easy to remove. First for safety pull the SIR fuse in the underhood fuse block. Then just stick a blunt tool in the hole one side at a time on each backside of the wheel to release it.
There are several videos on youtube that show it for a Silverado, Tahoe, etc. which use the exact same wheel (on a side note you can get a nice wood wheel from an Escalade, Sierra Denali, or a few other GM vehicles that use the identical steering wheel and swap the wheel if you want). Just searc for 03-07 silverado steering wheel on youtube to find a video that shows the removal. It is actually pretty much the same for other GM models and years as well. Really is extremely simple to remove.

You don't have to cut and splice. All are plug & play.. you do have to remove the right rear panel, it's a bitch bit doable. Luv the look on mine...
