There are slantback kits out there like what I purchased for my Opentop they also are available with the 4dr hardtop as well. but this one isan Original factory Slantback. Came off the production line like that and is VERY RARE. Definately my favorite of the models its a shame they only made 39 of these in 2000 but there is an 2006 Alpha Slantback kicking around. It is a real 2006 alpha that was Retrofitted with the FACTORY Slantback top definately an ingenious idea and a dream to own. For now I am just going to settle with my 1998 with the aftermarket slantback kit... Doesnt look as good but does the trick and doesnt have that AWFUL ABS/TT4 combination :P And eventually I might drop the DMax/Allison driveline in it to make my own Alpha Slantback

No, that is a very old post. I sold my 2000 red/tan slantback about a year ago.

It was a very old post about that slantback. Seems like it was on an eBay auction. Very nice looking truck. Can't remember what it sold for but seemed like it was cheaper than I thought it should go for. I want to say that it sold for about 58K and was out of the Southeast somewhere.
