Hey all,
New around here and saving up for an H1 someday. Wanting to know if anybody has some tips, tricks, advice and such for considering, purchasing, owning, and powertrain swapping an H1.
Its going to take quite a few years, in the meantime I want to gain as much knowledge as possible from you guys who "been there, done that" with these rigs on what to look for, what one should consider doing/checking right off the bat, as well as with swapping the engine and tranny ( current ex. Cummins 12/24v x Allison 1000 6spd).
I know you guys know stuff so I would greatly appreciate the info, even if you run across this post 5 years from today, I think it'll be a great starting point for others looking to do the same
