H1 Side Folding Mirrors ?

H1 Side Folding Mirrors ?
I have a 2001 H1...with the power mirrors. Vehicle is too wide to fit through the the new garage door (just moved to a new house).
I have never had to fold the mirrors before....do they fold ? They look like they should fold. I give them a "gentle" push...and nothing. I can't find info on this topic anywhere...weird.
So push harder ? Or should I be glad that I didn't push harder ?
