Why do so many people hate the HUMMER 2 and 3? I am tired of reading/glimpsing their rude remarks. Why can't people just respect each other and their choices?

I think the H2 brought it on by being what they see as typifying a brutish gas-guzzler. The H3 just gets the spill-over because of the brand name.

The funny thing is the H2 is no worse than many big Pick-ups, Suburbans, etc. which out-numberit on the roadby thousands to 1. So they are not merely haters, but ignorant haters.

 

Interesting timing! I own a BMW and regularly post on a BMW message board. I test drove a hummer last week, and posted in the off-topic forum some general questions. All I recieved were responses about how horrible the H3 is, if I'm going to buy something I should go big or go home (in reference to the H2) etc...

I was fed up, so I found this board and registered!

 

Funny.... When I was driving the Expedition 4X4 that got 12 MPG's with a good tail wind, nobody ever said a thing. Now that I am driving aHUMMER that gets18 combinedMPG'si'm a snob who does not care about the environment!!

Go figure!!

Yup, tree huggers you are damn right, i took one for a test drive over the weekend, a lady in a Prius flipped me off, what nerve, i didnt do anything to provoke it, and the dealer said, "we get lots of that" LOL
