Will they drop drastically or what?

 

Or will they increase because Hummer vehicles will be "rare"?

 

Was wondering myself if my H3 value will plummet or eventually raise.

 

The two will probably offset...but there are plenty of people out there who have always wanted one, and maybe were waiting until a 2010 model...This may push them to make a move now. On the other side, there are people who will doubt the viability of the warranty (a false assumption) and decide not to purchase for fear of future service.

Lately, the auction values have been going UP on HUMMERs and some other SUVs...so dealers are paying $2-3k over what they just a few months ago -- a very, very rare occurance for any make, especially in the SUV segment.

 

I have to tell you, they are selling rather well in my area. as soon as lease turn ins arrive, they are sold fairly quickly.

 

They could go up or they could go down... I will never sell my H3

 

its sad to say that if you have experience a goodbye with your hammer don't try to make a hard time on it, instead try to make it good so that it is acceptable to purchasers.

 

Good questions. If gas prices skyrocket again, then Hummer prices will plunge. Otherwise they will hold their own.

 

H2's in my area are selling for 4 to 8 thousand over Kelly Blue Book and NADA...

H1's are about 10 to 15 thousand over book...

H3's are selling for 3 to 7 thousand less than book values...

So who knows, it may be regional which tends to be the case for many SUV's

 

Demand in my area is rather high, dealers can't keep them on the lots. I think even if Hummer gets sold, they'll be around, warranted, and in higher demand.
That is, of course, if the gov't stays out of it. The market demands trucks and SUV's. that what sells.
