Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Hello to all,

Just purchased my 2006 Luxury package H2. I absolutely love it any tips from the vets would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to interacting with you fellow Hummer owners.

@drew, @ caraddict thanks. Any suggestions on what should be done first as far as customization?

Welcome from another 2006 owner. My H2 is the best vehicle I have ever bought.

@Man1nboat I want to de-chrome as you done. @phil, this vehicle ranks pretty high on my list of vehicles. I love love love this damn truck.

I think i want to get a brush guard for the grill, i want to get the headliner done in suede. So far i did internal mods. I put a 12 sub in the back and a amp. The windows are tinted minus the windshield. I want to get bigger tires without having to lift the truck up.

Thanks, all for your comments. Zoom

Mods all depend on what look you're going for.

On another forum a new member is making his "for show" with dump trucks full of chrome junk and huge rims.

Others like myself have gone for the offroad mods and while some have more than others its all about personalization.

Check out some build threads for ideas!

Let me know if you are currently looking for a strong brush guard. I bought one and cost me 335.00, I used it for 3 weeks then decided to the it off
Because I couldn't appreciate my blue grill I had installed. This brush grill is practically brand new. If interested I can send you the link with pics of brush guard. I'm not sure where you're located so not sure on the shipping charge. I'm looking for 195.00 plus shipping.
