Use Orange Marker Light As DRL Not The Headlights..
Hi,
I am new but I HAVE READ the forums and what I want to know is.. My 08 H3 DRL lights are the headlights. I want to know if somehow I can make them the orange marker lights (parking lights) and NOT the headlights. I don't want them both on at the same time just the marker lights only. I have read that you can make both the headlights and marker lights but I only want the marker lights as my DRL's. Any information will really be helpful. Also if this has been covered somewhere else would you please direct me in the right direction and if it was been discussed somewhere else sorry for this post..
Thanks in advance.

I wanted the same setup for my '08 Alpha. I thought I could pull the DRL relay out of the fuse box, run a jumper from the DRL relay input to the Parking Light relay input, and be done. Trouble is, that I fried something in the BCM Fortunately my dealer replaced it under warranty. I spoke with the technician there, and he checked the manuals and told me he could rewire the lights to give me the setup I wanted, but it would cost 1 1/2 hours labor which was $150. I passed.
