i chose this one b/c i didnt really need another dome light.

How are you mounting it?

 

Not sure yet. I will do a group of install photos to show my work.

right now, i am thinking of sandwiching it to the headliner with some backstraps, or seeing what factory braces are above the headliner.

 

Got the sunglasses holder finished.
Not as bad as i was thinking, a factory brace above the headliner gave me something to mount to. Here is how i did it.

It was really easy, and cheep.
big thing is to make a template that is cut to fit inside for the hole and cut to fit outside so you can line it up.
I got lucky on the brace to screw it to, i didnt know what was above the headliner.
You would just need some thin flat metal to cover the gaps in the factory roof brace to give yourself something screw to.

but the size and shape of the factory Nissan sunglass holder was perfect. Color is a little off, so im thinking of spraying it to match the factory colors.

I am very happy with the way it turned out.
