I really appreciate the information you have provided me re this issue. In fact, I spoke with my service rep and, I suggested the mechanic come out on this forum. Additionally, I advised they may want to seek out a company which deals strictly with electrical issues. I named a reputable company that my service rep was familiar with. He seemed open to my suggestions.

You are spending a lot of money unnecessarily at the dealer. A dealer is the last place I would take my truck.
As stated above replace those battery terminal clamps FIRST before doing anything else.

If you are not comfortable doing work on your truck then find a good independent mechanic to have your work done.

In re this photo of the stinger battery connectors, is there a specific model # I should purchase for my H3? I looked on amazon and, there are several models shown. I want to ensure I get the best connectors for my truck, whether these stingers or, if recommended, the military grade connectors.

The Stingers in my pic are: Stinger 0/4/8 Gauge Platinum Battery Terminal SPT53102, you need a Positive and a Negative. These have both the 1/0 and 4 Ga. connections I needed for my winch, you can get different stingers with one or the other and probably do not need both with your application.

What you use is up to you, just get rid of the OEM connectors.

Default Battery Terminal Conectors puchased

I purchased the StingerSPT53330 Pro Series conectors, which I found out is the "negative" terminal. Can someone advise me the correct "positive" terminal to purchase which will match with it. I thought I was getting a set.

The model # you posted does not come up (typo), but stinger uses a one off # to identify +/-

Example, see this ebay listing Stinger Positive Negative Battery Terminal Pair SPT53102 SPT53302 1 0 4 8GAUGE | eBay

I would assume who ever you bought the negative from can sell you a positive?

Did you try a stop by Stinger's website?
