sorry for a lame question, but i have searched on ebay under every name i can imagine. so what is this called? where can i buy it because its out and looks like i have to replace the whole thing since there is no bulb in it.

 

Front marker lamp and you are correct. The whole assembly must be replaced.

 

OEM marker is LED, about $110. I'd start looking for wrecked h2s on ebay and contact the seller to see if they have that part.

I buy LED lights (2.5" round, 6" oval, etc) direct from manufacturers overseas all the time. The 6" oval is the most expensive at roughly $5. I'm guessing it costs them $2 to make each one. The funny thing is, the EXACT same lights are sold by trucklite, etc for $35+. The mark-up on lights is absolutely INSANE!

I haven't looked for any that match this light exactly, but they're probably out there. The problem is that in the qtys I buy, I don't think I could ever sell them all even if I found them. lol
