Default Washing an H2!!

Clearly I didn't give it enough thought before buying!! Holy crap, last night was my first wash job and it took me 2.5 hours. I'm no small guy but even at 6ft I cant reach the middle of the stupid roof.

I am pretty **** and even the door jambs and stuff get cleaned and dried but still, what a fricken beast to wash!!

Kind of like giving a bath to an elephant. I for one choose the 10 dollar car wash down the street, then bring it home and finish up the nooks and crannies.

I used to have a Ram 2500CTD that made my H2 look small....I still have the step ladder I used to wash that beast. Go ahead and do it....and just wash the roof every other wash, or even longer gaps.

Left over from the big Ram and the Viper...I don't do car washes. Also, for me....washing my rig is a form of therapy for me.

Step ladder and a long reach brush...Hmm 20min with wipe down. Yep, I'm quick when I have to wash 4 vehicles on Saturdays.

The first time I washed mine I used a 3' step ladder. The hose caught it and knocked it into the pass door and put a little ding in the door. Now I never wash the roof. I do the sunroof and when I get it detailed I make sure to tell them to wax the roof good.

I have the same color H2. I think it is one of the best H2 colors there are.

The wife says I can hire her next time we need a wash as long as she doesn't lock the keys inside. The last time I had mine washed the guy locked the keys inside and the wife had to drive our other vehicle to the car wash so we could get inside. I snagged two premium washes and a super-premium hand wash and wax worth about $100 out of that deal.

Step ladder and a long boars hair brush. I always wash the roof but never dry it. I'm pretty **** as well but the roof is just too damn hard to reach and be picky over. You cant see the it any how. Although i would like to get a coat of wax on there some day.
