visor sun, light replacement

Default visor sun, light replacement

hello
my lights in visor sun is down, this mini bulb is difficult to pull off
how can i pull of down light ?

it pops out from the side, the bulb has to slide towards the edge of the sun visor to get it out.

i put out the left side transparent plastic ( there is the same on righ side of the courtesy mirror), the bulb is clipsed in small white plastic part
I pull left, the bulb always blocked...

i don't want to force it cause i don't want to broke it !

Impossible to take off

yeah they are highly annoying to get out. Pull the bulbs out towards the side of the visor. Take some needle nose and wrap the teeth with electrical tape and grab the bulb and pull it out towards you.

Kinda have to just fuss with it but it will come out. I took mine out to replace them with LED's but the SMD LED's I bought wouldn't fit in the plastic holder.

Bump any idea size/name of the bulb. Looking for LED that doesnt require modification

If I remember correctly you won't find any LEDs that will fit or I would have installed them years ago when I replied to this thread. I bought the smallest festoon type bulb I could find and the actual SMDs were still too big.
