Default Upgrading from 06 H3 to an 08 H2??

Was thinking about upgrading my H3 to an H2. I got my H3 3 years ago and its now pretty much worth what I bought it for... gotta love that! MPGs aren't that concerning - I'm getting 13 now do dropping down to 8-10 isn't that big of a deal. Are the H2's also maintaining value or will I be better off in the $$ keeping the H3? Anyone else done the swap and glad.. or sorry they gave up the 3? My biggest issue is height, I'll still have to see if an H2 will even fit into the parking garage at the office. I only have about 6 inches of clearance now... Does the air suspension only go up for more clearance or can you drop it as well?

I went from an 06 h3 to an 06 h2 and I am so glad that I did it. I actually get around 12 mpg on my H2 so I didnt really sacrafice much as far as mpg is concerned. With the air ride you can only raise it 2 inches you can not lower it. The only thing that I would say is that if I could of convinced my wife to keep the 3 and get rid of our BMW instead I would of loved to do that as I absolutely loved my 3 as well, but with the added room and power in the 2 I am happy I did it.

I did the same thing. Went from an 07 H3 to a 06 H2. Sooo glad I did. Love my baby.

You can mess with my dog. You can mess with my woman. Mess with my H2 and I will KILL you.

If your going to do it, now is a GREAT time to do it. I have an 03 H2 but have been looking at SUTs for awhile now. Noticed a huge increase on H2s for sale and prices dropped too in the last couple of months. Maybe blame that on high gas prices, but I figured most Hummer drivers are use to that anyway. I say GO FOR IT!

by the way, how high is your parking garage? My H2 has 35s on it and fits into my garage with roof racks off, sits about 6'10", maybe half inch lees, with racks on. 6"10" is the height of entrance but I park outside because I didn't want to loose racks

As mentioned above, you can only raise the H2 with the Air Suspension, not lower it. If you only have 6 inches of clearance now, the H2 will be a tight fit. With the roof cross rails, The h2 sits quite a bit higher than a H3. Being in Vancouver, I use the metric system....the height is 2.08m...Regarding the Value, I don't think that they will loose much more...they should hold their value pretty well, now that the prices are fairy low. I say go for it...nothing beats a H2 (except maybe a H1). Indy

We have an H2 and H3, I Enjoy the H2 over the H3, more room, easy and confortable ride, hauls the boat and dont know its even there, untill you look in rear view, id suggest getting one with the spare tire swing mount on the outside, i like it back there than in the cab with me.........

Just a Great Ride.....Need i say more.......

My wife to this day, has not driven our H2, Though I drive hers only to get gas for her..............

I see no Gas Issues w/H2 I accepted the fact when we bought it new, it wasent for Miles per Gallon............

you can increase MPG with a tunner and a Cold air intake there is also some other stuff but I dont have them. Might give you 2 or 3 mpg better. I did a 200 milie round trip and was adveraging 17.5 and getting 19.2 it was all high way.
I have a 2007 H2

I'm never getting rid of my 03, I am going to add an H1 Alpha to my collection though.

I was getting 9mpg on the highway, 9mpg in the city, 9mpg up the hill, 9mpg down the hill....

Added a cold air intake, went up to 12mpg

Bought the Diablo Predator and did a high octane tune now I get 19mpg and a ton more power

This is on a 2003 H2 with 160k miles never had major issue with the motor

The signs posted state 6'7" though most pipes are in the 6'10" range... but the signs are lower and some pipes and their joint knuckles are as low as 6'6". I can avoid the low pipes but the signs might be a problem.
