I used a nickel. Put in the top of the spring. I had to mess with it for a couple of weeks. But it works now. It looks cool.

I'm having the same issue. Damn thing never gets set properly. Key gets stuck in ignition. What advice do you have?

Mine was fitted by the prev owner not sure if its a defenderworx but I'll take a look and post a pic.

Apologies, I can't easily take a picture of the bit you need to see, and I'm sure you know what the external grenade looks like.

Astro did you ever resolve your mounting issue?

I had to remove mine to install a Pioneer AVIC-F77DAB radio system. On mine there was a small T15 Torx screw at the very front which mated with a hole in the shaft. Its a bit tricky to align but essentially the screw winds into the hole rather than binding to the shaft.
