Default play in steering wheel

I was looking on yube tube on how do tighten the play in the steering wheel. I have a little play but the process does not look hard. Says to loosen the nut and use allen head to adjust. Anyone done this first and helped or should I look at other problems?2005 H2 suv

That adjustment should only be done if your sure that all your front end pieces are in like new condition. Have you checked your idler arm, tie rod ends, ball joints and wheel bearings for play?
