Default Parts availability

How are you guys doing finding replacement parts? Both factory and aftermarket? I've read a few stories of waiting 7 weeks for things like door panels etc. I'm looking at an 08 but don't want to be stuck holding the bag if something goes wrong in the future.

I have had no issues getting any parts for my 2008. Ebay has tons of parts available and I have also purchased several items from online GM dealers. The site I have used the most is

GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts

I have had issues getting parts. Two dash bezels have been unavailable since February. I have a 2005 H2. I have tried everywhere including GM parts Direct.

Part number 10358035. The problem is most places show that you can add it to the shopping cart. Then it shows backordered.
I did email this place you listed to ask if they have it in stock. We'll see. Thanks.

Update: After eight months the dash part finally arrived at my dealership. There is hope after all.

There can be issues, I dumped over a battery in the back of my H2 that ate through the carpet. It took me well over 6 months to get the carpet and padding to replace what the acid ate away. I tried to get the shoulder belt position possition adjustors for the middle seats only to be told they are sold out and no one can get them any more. It's a real issue and will likely become worse over time. I'm not about to sell mine though so YMMV.

I don't want to be "Captain Obvious" but Just Google Hummer H2 Parts and that should work.

I Googled and Binged everything I could think of. Including the part number. Sure, there were tons of listings, but no one had my part. I even called a dealer in Alaska. Several fooled you and let you add it to your 'cart' and even pay for it. But it was always on backorder!
