Milage is about 140,000 so a few.

Plugs taken out over the weekend and look ok. Have ordered Thermostat and head gaskets. Hopefully soon.

There does not seem to be any oil in the water or vise versa. Mechanic said head was good but gonna change on advise from here.

 

Car goes in today for Thermostate and head.

One thing i did notice is that when hot the top hose is absolutly solid and reving engine slightly make it move.

It does look to be full of air but no water in oil and no oil in water.

 

Do they have a way to check the heads for cracks?

 

They are looking into a place that can do that. might have to go Abu dhabi.

The mechanic Only changed the Thermostat this week. He wants to see of it is that before he plays with the head casket.

Picked it up last night. Seems ok but still no heater working in the cabin.

You should have heat in the cab. Did he flush the heater core to make sure it's not plugged?
