I am looking to increase the power on my 05 H2 SUT. So far I have added headers, true dual exhaust, cold air intake and power program. any ideas short of a supercharger. I have thought about msd ignition coils any ideas out there.

 

Heads, injectors, coils, MAF, intake, a real computer tune (not chip) etc.....

lots of things other than a supercharger....

 

which would give me more bang for the buck. Heads or injectors I will install new coils in the next couple of weeks any brand you recommand.

 

I traded in my 06 GTO with an LS2 for my hummer. I know the engines aren't exact but they're decently close and I know for a fact the GM coils performed for all us GTO guys just as good if not better than the aftermarket MSD coils. Most guys would actually just buy OEM when they went out as opposed to aftermarket.

I've hard of some truck guys wanting to swap out LS2's for the LQ4's but nto many have. Honestly for the money of the coils if you're looking for a major power upgrade then go with a cam. Sure the install cost will be high but it will net a lot better gains than the coils IMO.

BTW, if you're eventually going to do the heads, while the have the heads off you might as well have a custom ground cam thrown in the thing or a box cam-match up the cam with the heads!

 

Thank for the Inf. The more I look into heads and Injectors the more involved it becomes. I had not thought of a new cam but good idea. Most of these changes will mean a trip to the local speed shop, more than I can do by myself
