The airbox vent will pop straight off. There are clips that hold it tight. I use a plastic tool to get underneath it and lift it off.

hi all. can anyone please share with me of which fuse relay underhood box set macthing with H2 from any GM TRUCK? it is much easier if campatibility is there,at least i got an option. aLSO I'm tryin to note down all the relays and fuse in the said box ( amp/rating,etc). I seen a pic but it is not very clear on the amp/rating specs.

HELLO ALL,
Update.
Hood finally opened. Luckily the hood cable still intact. I removed the plastic lever and pull the steel cable with plier. A bit tough at the beginning but after a few tryout finally it opened,THANKS GOD!!! Now I have to clean all the mesh and access all the damage parts.

Need opinion...

Is 07 underhood fuse box is same with 04? I found 1 in ebay but it 07.

I would go to the dealer and have him look up the part for your 04 then look up the same part for 07.
You will end up with another fire on your hands if you dont it exactly right.

you are absolutely right but i just wanna comfirm either the 07 can be fitted into 04. My car in service garage now and i just wanna try to look for used parts. The garage will also look for used parts also the new parts. I will decide later base on the price quote and off course the correct fitment.

I take it you had no full coverage insurance and the cost is out of your pocket?
