Does anyone know if a Transfer Case from an 09 (6.2L/4l80E) Will fit a 2005 H2? They are both BW 4484 part numbers but the computer is saying it wont fit. Are the shaft splines different or something?

Also does anyone know where I can buy internal parts for my transfer case? I need a new planetary carrier assembly and a new chain. Thanks!

 

Ok I am about to buy a reman t-case from RockAuto.com but I keep thinking about this new 09 t-case I can get for 400 bucks. I found out the splines between the 05 and 09 are different because the ouput shafts on the transmissions are different. I was wondering if i could just swap the mainshafts between the two.
I am a little concerened about the quality of the reman unit from rock auto. Anybody dealt with the Retech treansfer cases?
