Default Warranty start date

Purchased an 07 H3 with luxury package a couple of months back. Curious as to how I find out when the factory warranty expires. Am I correct that the drivetrain has a 5 year/100K mile warranty? I know I can take it into a dealer and find out, but is there anyway I can look up the VIN myself online and find out?

Thanks

It has a 4yr/50k b2b, and 5yr/100k drivetrain starting from the date of original purchase. You can enroll for your 3 month free trial of Onstar and you get all the warranty info and vehicle data every month sent to your email.

airborne227 is correct! I have also heard of instances where a HUMMER was purchased as a "GM certified" vehicle 2nd owner from a HUMMER dealer and they have a 5/100 B2B.

My 07 Lux had 80k bumper to bumper. I guess the original owner could have bought an extended warranty that they didn't transfer or something. I bought the truck at 79xxx and it still had B2B on it for awhile. We just bought a new Camaro and got the extended warranty for 100k B2B.
