Today while googling around for the no way can you get a 2009 H2 air Ride compressor ......one popped up on Amazon.... So I click on it. Picture below. Only problem is it's in Singapore. So I chat with is guy there and and he assures me it is the real deal GM 20803367 Compressor unit. $2544.08. That includes import duties less shipping when amazon gets it here from there. He says no problem but it takes 6 weeks to get it ready to ship. So I say....Great ..I'll buy it. I had it in my cart from before. So I go to check out and go for Paypal and I get a Pop up that says.....Can't ship from Singapore to your address in the USA.

So I go back to Amazon chat and another Singapore chat guys says sorry the other guy should have told you that it won't ship to the USA. So I ask..can you give me the suppliers name and I'll contact him directly. The Chat guy says yes and gives me this contact and supplier infor. Here's what he gives me

So I look around and no friggen Compressor.

So Amazon list's it in Singapore and gets it from https://www.gmparts.com?????? And they don't list it here which I already knew. And it friggen ain't on Amazon USA.

So that was 1.5 hours wasted. That ain't funny. It's like getting to 2nd base and you get a slap in the face. Rant Over

 

I have the stuff of my 2003, I think its 1 compressor though, was left mounted in mine when I bought it even though it was already converted to springs, not sure if that would work.....or if compressor is any good, pulled that stuff off n put in a box 10 years ago

looks to have metal solonoid valves looks to have a pressure sensor but maybe it is a pressure switch? and comes with 2 compressors.

It's the way of all things. They live for a while and then die. These compressors are the same. Once the 10 year patent rights are up, GM can dump it it from there mfg line or supplier. Then the product remains for a while in the mfg stock and slowly goes away. If you own a very popular classic car...for instants , my 65 Corvette there is practically ever part made to day for a 1965 Corvette except the metal structural bird cage which surrounds the driver passenger compartment. There are pieces made but not the complete birdcage unit.

Meaning that if the H2 was collectable, some people would be mfg parts for them. Some parts are made but mostly Bling. The Air Ride System seems to be one part that was not in demand. So no demand..no AIr Compressor.. A Bag here and there and maybe air lines yes. So at this point since I cannot get me a compressor which would have enabled me to put new bags in and lines and be set for another XX years and worry when my 16 year old compressor was going to drop dead it looks like springs.

I did call GM-Parts .com like Amazon said but they had no clue why Amazon listed them as the supplier. And Amazon told me they are the supplier not a third party.

So it looks like the end of the line for the Air Ride System In My H2.
