TPMS change?
Hey guys,
I'm replacing my stock 265/75/16's with a set of 285/75/16's. The new bigger set came with their own TPM sensors inside the wheels. The wheels are at the powder coat shop now. When I get them back I dont know if I should put my original sensors in or put the ones that came with the bigger tires?
Is their different sensors for different p.s.i.'s?
Do I need to keep the original sensors because they "match-up" with my computer?
Thanks!

Nope, the TPMs will have the same "set" warning pressure regardless of the 265/285 difference. I would put the set that has come from newest model year wheels (if you know who you got the wheels from). If not keep the extra set just in case one or more of the batteries dies in the installed TPMs.
Hope that helps.
