So I am looking into getting a set of wheels for my newly aquired H3..

I have been reading this forum for days and think I have it figured out, but want to make sure, because I dont want my tires to stick out to far...

I am looking at the KMC XD diesels in a 20x10, 4 wheel parts has them listed as only coming in a 4.56 backspace (-24mm offset)

If I am doing the math correctly the stock wheel has a 5.75 backspace on a 7.5 inch rim, meaning the wheel sicks out 1.75 inches from the hub.

the KMC wheel with a 4.56 backspace on a 10 inch wide wheel sticks out 5.44 inches from the hub

Which means I would be 3.69 inches farther out than the factory wheel correct?


Does anyone around here run a 20x10 with that offset so I can see pics?

I have found various different looks, but it is hard to gather info as to what I am looking at sometimes..
