Default Riding in a Hummer with Muddy

Here is a short clip up a logging road cut by a D5 Bulldozer. It is a short drop to your death on one side and a nice set of nasty roots on your left. Sadly my camera ran out of memory card 1/4 mile into it... so you only get half of the trip. It didn't get much worse after this part.

The sounds you are hearing in this clipare my cooler sloshing, roots dragging the drivers side, nice throttle control , and a 4% pucker factor.

I have finally started editing some of the Beckley, WV trip video and will put more up as I find something I think is interesting.

Sounds like you ended up with some more of that custom pin striping after that little adventure :-)

It all buffed out though.... I have some minor scratches in the plastic on the roof rails.

The camera was sitting on a Tripod. I have a fairly inexpensive tripod that will work with my SLR as well as my Sony Handicam. I extended two legs out behind the seats, and them put the 3rd leg on the seat and used the center seatbelt to secure it. I was very impressed with how steady it was.

Then I turned my screen around so that I can see it in the mirror. The only real drawback is that day 2 after I changed the battery and memory stick I zoomed it wrong and you can see too much of my rear view mirror and also it gives you a little bit of tunnel vision. It was a learning experience. I now know what I will do differently in the future. I also think I should have screwed on my wide angle lens.
