Hello, I'm new here and have done a bit of searching, but I haven't run across this particular problem. My wife's 2008 H3 recently started acting up electronically. A few weeks ago the security lock dash light (aftermarket security) came on while driving then went back off. Then the turn signals started flashing quickly so I check the bulbs and they were ok. Then they stated flashing normally but with no sound. Yesterday while the vehicle was parked out in front, my wife noticed the driving lights turn on then off by themselves. Of course, I thought she was nuts, but then later I saw them come on too. When I unlocked it and checked inside, the dash lights were also on. I couldn't do anything to turn them off and by then the battery was completely drained. Going to have to try and get it to the shop tomorrow, but just wondered if anyone has a clue what might be going on? Thank you.

 

Step 1 - if you still have the stock battery terminals, change them...........

 

Step 2: remove the aftermarket alarm.

Sounds like the alarm "brain" is bad.

 

H3's have more than a fair share of problems after adding aftermarket alarm and remote start systems.
