This scanner uses the "Torque App" for Android phones. When I hooked it up
to my 2008 H3 Alpha and loaded the App I find It's not talking to the E.C.M.
Then checked to see if it would work on my HHR... got the same thing.
Could use some advice from someone that has used a blue-tooth scanner

Mine works fine.
You could have a bad device or you are not following the proper sequence in getting the device to bind to your phone.
Everything from plugging it in to turning the key to certain positions at the right time all are required to make the connection.

 

Wow amazing what one can do when the direction are followed. One word can pretty much sum it up "STUPID" It worked like a charm just like you said. Thank You Bunger sorry I had to bother everyone with my lack of paying attention to the printed material now I feel like I need a freaking helmet 😂

I was looking to see if anything would jump out and say REPLACE: PCM or ECM
the shop should be able to figure it out.
