Default Spark Plug replacement, old plugs look....

Replaced plugs today, ran terrible for the first few startups then evened out and runs great now! I don’t know if it was the computer correcting for the new plugs or what, but my question is the old plugs. It appears like metallic shavings all over the threads. I’m no pro but it can’t be a good sign...rings maybe??
